17 May 2020 — The Department of Foreign Affairs, through the Office of Consular Affairs (OCA), informs the public of the schedule of the re-opening of its Consular Offices (COs) which shall provide consular services by appointment only.
Please note that COs that are closed may provide consular services for clients showing documentary proof of their emergencies or urgent travel only, such as returning OFWs, persons requiring medical treatment abroad, or persons going on compassionate visits (grave illness or death of family).

Given the current public health emergency, the abovementioned schedule may be subject to sudden changes due to unforeseeable circumstances or changes in the policies of local governments and mall partners which host these COs. The DFA will make announcements should there be any changes to the schedule.
As the COs shall strictly implement physical distancing and other public health safety measures once operations resume, it is highly recommended that appointments are set via e-mail or if unavailable, via phone call to the COs. Setting appointments via e-mail is preferred to ensure communication trail between both parties.
Clients are requested to provide the following details when making their appointments:
- Full name;
- Date of birth;
- Service needed; and/or
- Nature of emergency/urgent matter
