In view of representations made by the provincial government of Ilocos Norte, the Department of Foreign Affairs informs passport applicants of the Consular Office in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, who are coming from “NCR Plus” and other regions implementing Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ), to defer or reschedule their passport appointment to a later date.

The provincial authorities will no longer allow the entry of persons coming from “NCR Plus” and other areas under ECQ.

Affected applicants may reschedule their appointment through the Passport Online Appointment website : https://passport.gov.ph. Those who were not able to show up for their appointments this week due to the restrictions on entry may send an email to CO San Nicolas at This email address is being protected from spambots.
