CONTINUED DELAY IN PASSPORT RELEASE DUE TO THE SYSTEM MAINTENANCE OF APO PRODUCTION UNIT, INC.,
PARAÑAQUE CITY 23 July 2024 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that passport applications submitted on or after 10 July 2024 have been affected by ongoing system maintenance at the printing facility of, APO Production Unit, Inc. (APO), the DFA’s service provider for passports.
As a result, there have been issues with passport issuance and printing since 10 July 2024. The DFA is working closely with APO to resolve this issue promptly. Another public advisory will be issued once passport issuance resumes.
In the meantime, the DFA advises the public to make the necessary travel arrangements due to this delay. Rest assured all affected passport applications will be printed and delivered as soon as the system maintenance is completed.
