CANDON CITY, 16 September 2024 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that as a safety measure and to minimize the adverse effects and damages of Tropical Depression “Gener,” passport service at the DFA Consular Office in Candon City, Ilocos Sur is suspended on Tuesday, 17 September 2024, per the announcement from the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur.

Affected applicants for passport services with confirmed appointments on 17 September 2024 at the Consular Office in Candon City will be accommodated from 18 September 2024, Wednesday, to 18 October 2024, Friday.
